Delta's Newest Employee!

Ethan has finally graduated from Delta and got to come home for a few days before he headed out again this morning. It was really fun to go back to Atlanta with his mom, Kathe, for a day so we could be there for his graduation and see him all spiffed up in his uniform! After six weeks apart I didn't want to leave his side for a second! We got there Tuesday night and once he got out of class we went and explored a little bit. Ethan kind of directed us around and we went and found 2 huge malls so his mom could go to Sephora! It was fun just to be with him again. We drove around Atlanta and saw the Olympic park there and the Hard Rock Cafe and fun stuff like that. The graduation was Wednesday morning so we had to get up early. At the graduation we got to see some pictures of them while they were there doing their rescue trainings and pictures from their "shake it up" party and different stuff they did while there. After that there was a reception and we got to meet alot of Ethan's new friends and people he'll be in New York with. They were really nice and I'm glad they took care of my boy while he was gone! The plane ride home was a little scarey because the flight looked really full but Kathe and I managed to both get on so it was all good!! I got to sit by Ethan and it was sooo fun!!

Ethan's facilitators, Yolanda and Lafonda (I can't spell!)

Ethan left again this morning to New York for orientation and to check out places for him to live while he's there doing his reserve days. We're not sure how long he'll be gone this particular time and probably won't until Tuesday. It was really hard to say goodbye again after he just got home but I'm sure he'll have fun!!

Weekend at Home

So this weekend my dad had his big young adult summer activity and I went home to help out. My awesome roommate Marissa went home with me too and was a good sport about me dragging her everywhere! It was alot of fun and on Saturday when we had a break we went out in my backyard to play with all of the animals and take a few pictures!! It was a really nice day and the yard looked really pretty!
